About Me

My name is Ariel D. Arrieta. My first chess teacher was my father, Napoleon Z. Arrieta. He taught me the basics of Chess when I was 8. I got interested in the game and started playing tournament chess at the age of 15 and at the same time became a Champion on my first ever tournament scoring 6/6. This continues in the City Tournament where I scored 7½/9 and back-to-back High School Chess Champion scoring 5½/6 competing to 6 other schools.

I was a Varsity Chess Scholar in College wherein I scored 5/5 on my try-out and became a Champion in the University wide team tournament (Engineering Team) at Board 3 scoring 5½/6.

Today, I continue playing Online Chess, competing with different nationalities and languages. Chess for me is not just a sport, it’s my life, my passion and my inspiration.

About Chess Set Online

“Chess Set Online” was established to help promote the game of Chess all over the world and to inspire kids and next generation of players.

I want more people to learn this game as I want them to experience the pleasure and excitement; the pressure and ecstasy; and the fulfillment of winning. As I begin to love Chess at an early age, I am certain that kids from all over the world might have the same curiosity about this game, that’s why this site offers Chess Set, Chess Education and an optional Premium Membership to well-known chess website for players of all levels, whether a beginner, an amateur or a grandmaster. As a chess lover, I always wanted to use high quality Chess Set and even have it as a collection, which some chess players do as well. Personally, I collected at least ten (10) Chess Set.

I will continue promoting Chess by blogging, making articles, providing the latest news, marketing, premium membership and will provide everything we need to know about the game of Chess.

If you ever need a hand or have any questions, feel free to Contact Us and I will be more than happy to help you out.

All the best,

ARIEL D. ARRIETA
